So yes, I've started playing Persona 4 since my copy of Nocturne doesn't want to work. ONCE MORE I'M LATE TO THE PARTY, PLAYING GAMES OTHER PEOPLE HAVE FINISHED AGES AGO, so expect to be bored by me going on about it. Briefly where I am, it's towards the end of May and Kanji's just been saved. Went for the drama club only because there wasn't one for flower arranging. I hate kids, but Nanako makes me go "D'awwww!" I want a plush Teddie. And I'll stop there before I really start dithering. Also, fuck yeah Chie/Yukiko.

Haven't really written or drawn anything worth a damn over the last week or so but for once don't feel like a loser for it. Which is good I suppose, but I don't want to stop doing it entirely. Eh.

I could have tried some drawing or writing today before work. But what did I do instead? Trawl /v/.

Also, I must vent briefly, because I'm an obsessive cow. The biggest problem I have with wanting to get totally into fandoms is unbridled fear. What if everyone hates my writing/art/me. I know everyone elsethere are quite a few people far more talented than I. The easy answer of course is if it bugs me that much don't try to get involved. But dammit the whole point of fanning to me is "Holy fuck I think [fill in blank] is awesome!1 I WANT TO SHARE MY LOVE FOR IT." And thus it goes round and round. Random question to those who may be in the know: has it ever been revealed in any of the DSRK extras how Raido got his scar? I figure probably not, but I thought I'd ask.

Speaking of which I NEED to make myself finish Abaddon. Part of my problem is that I WANT TO FINISH IT ALL NAO, even though I know there's stuff I can't do until the second time around. ASDF. ONLY WHEN I FINISH IT WILL I LET MYSELF GET SUCKED INTO PERSONA 4 AND/OR NOCTURNE.

I'm not sure how to explain it, but Nostalgia irks me. It's not the characters, though they most certainly are Generic with a capital G. It's more like... Some of the translation/writing just seems a little dull and sloppy. Something cracking open a thesaurus could have helped. I don't know. AND WHILE I FIND THE AIRSHIPS SEXY, THE AIR BATTLE SHIT ME OFF. Eh, but I like the skill building and the characters are kind of cute and I'll finish it anyway. And I keep hearing Melody with an outrageous French accent ala John Cleese.
