Again, funny only to me and two or three other people. A tiny snippet from something for the fic challenge:

Okay, so life has slightly less suck now than it did yesterday afternoon. Since then I picked up some goodies from the library, hung out with Taiki, and saw real stars again.

One of the books I got is Phyllis Diller's autobiography Like a Lampshade in a Whorehouse, which is quite good. There's a nice little section of pictures, a few of which really tickle me. One is of her in her early days with her opera gloves with the middle finger missing, which she refers to in the Aristocrats.

Penn: You were thirty years old and you didn't know about the Finger?
Phyllis: Well, I hadn't learned to drive yet.

Also a little mind blowing is a strangely tasteful nude piece originally shot for Playboy, but we won't go there.

Right now I've been thinking about this steampunk idea thingy that I've thrown towards Mags, because I know I can't write something like this, but let's see if I can draw it. Oh yeah, Mags, check this out. The resource section is pretty kickass. Also, I need to mail you the who's who I whipped up of the Fae Royal Family. And while Aubrey is the typical snide bish bastard with a chin that could cut diamonds, he doesn't have white hair. X3
